Hallasan Snow Sushi

A whole house
on a Jeju hill

In Yusuam, Aewol. We rebuilt an entire house into a restaurant that serves salmon every way — and we set the table the way we would for guests at home.

Every window opens onto the garden

We rebuilt a house on a hill. Full-height windows look out onto the garden and the basalt stone walls, and tables are set far enough apart to talk.

The salmon is cut thick enough to actually chew. We stop by every Jeju trip, and the main store is the best of the branches.

Came for lunch on our Jeju road trip. The cheese-covered sushi sounds like a gimmick but it works. Huge windows, quiet room, easy parking.

The snow sushi is genuinely unusual. Thick, fresh salmon. The room is big — all eight of us fit at one table.

A converted house on a hill, lovely atmosphere. The tomato udon was unexpectedly good with the salmon. Note they close on Sundays.

Took both kids. There is a play room, which helped, and a separate children's set. Plenty of parking.

Not a coastal-view place — it's inland, about 10 minutes from Arte Museum. Worth the detour. Staff spoke some English and the menu has photos.
